Kathryn Tyler

Twitter went a little crazy for an hour last night, while everyone lusted over the house featured on Grand Designs. Grand Designs is one of my favourite shows on TV and I'm so glad it's screening on Sunday nights now so I don't miss it. I'm not sure how long ago last night's episode originally screened overseas, but it featured interior designer Kathryn Tyler, and her house was absolutely my favourite to date (followed closely by the art deco house.) David just linked me to photos of her house so now I can drool over it for a while longer. If you like what you see, go and check out her website. I'm going back to scrolling through her blog photos now...

Majestic

The Majestic Tower is Wellington's tallest building, and it's on the short walk between my work and apartment. I took some photos of it today, and happened to capture a flock of birds flying past in one shot.
