I know it doesn't look like much to those of you in colder climates, but it never snows in Wellington city, and it never snows this heavily in my hometown Masterton (bottom two photos)! The whole region is ridiculously excited... although it's not so great in other parts of the country, where snow is much heavier and lambing season is underway.

i don't know why it baffles me so much and logically i know that this is how the world works, but my brain literally goes, "woahhhhh," everytime i remember that it's winter down south right now. :)
OH MAN...this is going to be us in two months.
I still get excited about snow, even the horrendous thigh-deep-can't-leave-your-house snow we get here in Scotland.
I grew up in Arizona my whole life, now I live in Latin America. I've never even seen snow, and I want to so badly.
Hahaha, I agree with Rhiannon. I was like "WHAT SNOW in august?!?!.. oh right." I do not look forward to this!
