I've grown tired of my blog layout, so decided to empty out the clutter and make it a bit more simple. Still undecided about whether I like it, so not sure how long this version will last. I've also added a different photo to the about me page, and simplified the messy friend connect box. Click over if you've viewing this on a reader, and let me know what you think- I'm not super attached to it so you can be brutal.
The illustration is taken from a drawing I did in 2010 of a couple of Facebook friends- I tried and failed to do about 30 of them- ended up giving up after less than 10.
I had a pretty good weekend, spending quality family time with my parents and aunty. The Rugby World Cup opening ceremony was actually pretty magical, but that's where my excitement ends so far. Should be interesting to see how this week goes at work because of it... Only six weeks to gooo...

this one is cute, but i liked your other one too! i miss your about me photo with your kitty and all the sidebar linkage. sometimes less is more but sometimes less is less. i like clicking around and i miss that about your old layout.
